ECG ELECTRODES
ECG Means electric activity of heart,
means some m voltage is been generated surrounding to the heart that we
have to capture but the thing is that to measure that much small amount of
voltage we require some specific metal that able to capture is the one of best
is silver but if silver is used in making of the electrode price will matter in
to that. So other cheap metals used in making of electrode most likely brass
are used. And it is comparatively cheaper than silver and tungsten.
But ECG Can
capture from most of our body part (Recently MINDRAY Manufacture the
defibrillator without ECG lead just put the paddle at any part of body and it
will detect the ECG) so it is one type of ECG Electrode.
So many type
of ECG Leads is use to capture the ECG depends upon requirement.
3 LEAD
ELECTRODE, 5 LEAD ELECTRODE 12 LEAD ELECTRODE. But the selection on one from
given those three depends on requirement. But mostly 5 LEAD ECG capture all the
required detail in some rare case like TMT 12 LEAD ECG is used because it
capture the rhythm of each lead.
But it
requires some resistance medium to capture the ECG that provided by the ECG
Gel. Made upon base material sodium.
